Drive for less than 2 hours to cover 75 km from Moshi town, drive from Moshi to the Maasai museum, location west Kilimanjaro at Tingatinga village. What to see on the way three different view of different mountains such as Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and Mount Longido a massai mountain, sometimes there are some wild animals around. Here we you will get a chance to visit the museum where by you will have a chance to talk to the local massai people who are living there. What to do at the village tour, traditional lunch, traditional medicine tour which will give you opportunity to, learn some hunting technical, and incredible natural medicines.
Itinerary
You will be picked up at your hotel at 0800hrs and transferred to the Olpopongi Maasai Village. It is roughly a 1 hour drive from Moshi town. While at the village you will be given a tour of the village and museum to get a better understanding of Maasai culture and tradition. You will also go on a short walking safari and learn about Maasai hunting techniques and their natural medicines. A traditional lunch will be prepared for you in the afternoon. After your tour of the village you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi
